the evil team would also bioengineer pokemon that don't exist naturally

evil team progression points: 1. The introduction 2. Real introduction (if necessary) 3. Anything that builds up to their plan (basically anything they do until the end) plus/or Reveal of their plan, maybe building a personal connection with the protagonist 4. Executing the plan 5. The plan’s consequences (either success or loss)

I think the evil leader could be a twins that have pys powers but they are suffering from bipolarization (idk its english btw) so they are good guys when they are stable enough to control their illness (maybe they can be a gym leader idk) but when they lose their control they become the evil leaders?

There could be an island on north and an island on south. Each one of the twins can go to different islands. When you playing x ver. you go to north and see lati'x', your rival goes to y and sees lati'y' and otherwise for the y ver.

it would make a better villain than just one that wants to rule the world. so we could have a complex motivation for the villain, and possibly the secondary antagonists he/she is controlling as well

two things to consider are personality and motivation. what goes on inside the villain's head?

is the villain really a pure heart that is misguided? is he/she tormented by evil thoughts, while remaining good? is he/she possessed by some force that turns him/her evil? does the villain's thirst for power know no bounds? is he/she so blinded by ambition that they can't see the "cracks" in their plan? if someone is controlling the secondary antagonists, what is his/her motivations?

okay, so the soul dew is just a soul in an orb, right? what if the evil team wants to collect souls to make one of the latis like a god and rule the world latiasred it would be latias, latiosblue it would be latios could be caught in a dark ball bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Dark_Ballthe villain could be the iron masked marauder's boss to unlock the true power of the soul dew, they need the opposite lati's soul

So the villain goes to Southern Island to capture both the Latis. He succeeds in capturing one, but the other escapes. Which Lati he captures depends on the game version. He does this so that he can bioengineer the Soul Dew. Whichever Lati he captures, he gets the Soul Dew from His plan is to put the souls of every Pokemon in the Soul Dew and turn the Lati into a god However, he needs the opposite Lati's soul to "purify" the Soul Dew enough for its power to be fully unlocked The villain has three machines: The Harvester - steals Pokemon's souls The Reaper - turns Pokemon into Ghost-types The Mother - turns "soul energy" into Pokemon abominations You first face the villain during the Reaper phase These Pokemon are just normal Pokemon, with their secondary type being Ghost type, having Levitate, and having the floating shadow effect You destroy the Reaper Then you find out about the plan to bioengineer the Soul Dew The bioengineered Soul Dew is called the Soul Harvest So this is the Soul Harvest arch. During the Soul Harvest arch, the opposite Lati at first leads you, then joins your party Before facing the Elite Four, you face off against the Lati, powered by the Soul Harvest, but missing the key component: the opposite Lati's soul you defeat it you release the souls of the pokemon trapped in the soul harvest but the cover lati is worn and becomes the new soul dew but the evil team is still around you never destroyed the mother or the harvester lol so you battle against them in the postgame, and eventually, destroy the mother first, then the harvester standard 8 gym, 4 elite four member, champion, rival game that's all when the soul harvest is released i'm thinking the old soul dew disentigrates it has taken too much evil

The plot will be set after the events of Sapphire, where Kyogre became Kyogre-Primal and floods Kanto/Johto/Hoenn. Brendan/May, depending on the version, stops Kyogre too late with the help of Rayquaza-Mega. Groudon then creates a new landmass, the setting of the game.
